Informal [ draft 3 ]

Dear Amanat,

Your death is a worldwide sensational news and people from all around the world wanted to fight justice for you. India was badly mouthed for the fact that they disrespect most women in their country. Your death has been a national debate and people from around the world help to seek justice, pray and felt indignant for you.
Over the years, women in India, their status are low. They are restricted from certain things in life and had to be fined if they are not abiding it. Dressing in traditional Indian clothes is only allowed so as to prevent any sexual harassment. Still in the 21st century, married women are not able to use the wonderful technology as they might elope with the third party. The respect for women in India is rare and is only to certain people.
Police in India, handle rape cases like it did not matter to them at all. It was very unprofessional for them to not even bother to do any paperwork and following the victims to the hospital. The reason being because, in India law, the definition of rape is sexual intercourse. In the Judicial system, they would not charge the offenders but state that it is a false alarm and would not go further into the case.
Recently after your death, rape women victims are able to come forward to seek justice and equality. Not only women are seeking justice, the turban male Sikh also protested. They held up a board which quoted “Real man don't rape!” The prosecutions of the rapists sped up and the punishment on them are severely dealt with too.
Don't you worry Amanat, you didn't die in vain. You've helped many people in India and raise awareness on them too. Last but not least, rest in peace.

Yours
Catherine
