‘Bitterness first sweetness
last’, this may look like an easy job but the process to sweetness is tough.
For example the challenges faced by parents these days are not easy. They need
to work, cook, and earn money to provide for their children. They also need to
face the economic crisis, children’s performances in school and their work.
They faced so many challenges, everyday but yet they dare not show it on their
faces in front of their children. I feel that their job as a parent is not as
easy as it looks.
Especially for parents, their
work is most important. It helps them to earn money to provide for their family
and they even work overtime to get a larger salary to give their children
better living conditions. Children, like teenagers, do not even appreciate what
they did for them. They even complain about not giving them enough pocket
money. All they do is work, work, and work, even when they have a bit of a free
time also unable to spare for them.
Parents not only they have to
work, they also need to pacify their children. Their children made it so
contradicting that even they do not know what their children want. For example when parents are busy with their
work, their children complain. Similarly, when parents got their day off, their
children also complain that their parents keep bothering them like a bee
attracted to a flower.
All parents wishes that after their
work was to go back home, take a relaxing shower, meals being prepared by us,
everything in the house is neat and most importantly, a word of ‘Thank You’
from their beloved children. That is all they can ever ask for, yet this is
rarely seen in the century. Parent’s love for their children is greater than
any other love. It is just so strong that parents themselves are unable to show
it to their children that they love them.
To me, I feel that children like us are
not grateful towards what our parents have done for us. Doing odd jobs, provide
us with education, make sure that we do not go hungry, just everything that
they do, we as children are indebted to them. They took care of us when we are
young, so when they are old, we will take care of them and repay their love to
us back; our parents are like our hero and heroine in our lives. If I got the
chance, I would like to tell them that I love them as much as they do.
